Muscat Open
The Muscat Open Golf Tournament at Ras Al Hamra in Oman is one of the most prestigious tournaments on the Arabian Peninsula. The tournament, which was first played in 1998, has become a regular stop on the European and Asian Tours. The event has also been sanctioned as a part of the Arab Tour.
The Muscat Open is a 72-hole stroke play event with a field of 120 players. The purse for the tournament is US$600,000, with the winner taking home $105,000.
Past champions of the Muscat Open include several major champions, including Padraig Harrington, Darren Clarke, and Martin Kaymer.
